Jesus Is Lord of the Sabbath

⁹Going on from that place, he went into their synagogue, ¹⁰and a man with a shrivelled hand was there. Looking for a reason to bring charges against Jesus, they asked him, “Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath?”
¹¹He said to them, “If any of you has a sheep and it falls into a pit on the Sabbath, will you not take hold of it and lift it out? ¹²How much more valuable is a person than a sheep! Therefore it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath.”
¹³Then he said to the man, “Stretch out your hand.” So he stretched it out and it was completely restored, just as sound as the other. ¹⁴But the Pharisees went out and plotted how they might kill Jesus.
1/ V 1-2 are you surprised at the Pharisees attempt to trap Jesus?

2/ Do you experience unbelievers attempting to trap you into saying or doing something that they feel wins the argument for them?

3/ V11 how does Jesus answer show the hypocrisy of the Pharisees?

4/ V 12 Jesus resorted the man’s hand to be as good as his other hand. Can this be done instantly today by doctors or is it a miracle? What should the Pharisees have learnt about Jesus that they obviously failed to learn.

5/ V14 what did they plan for Jesus because he embarrassed them in front if their congregation?
